Provision of science LABORATORY EQUIPMENTS AT UPT SMPN-42 MEDAN
As part of the company’s commitment to sustainable development, particularly in the fields of education and community welfare, PT. Oleochem & Soap Industri has implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program through the provision of science laboratory equipment including Binocular Electric Microscope and Cabinet for Laboratory equipment for UPT SMPN 42 Medan.
Sebagai bentuk komitmen perusahaan dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan, khususnya di bidang pendidikan dan lingkungan sosial, PT. Oleochem & Soap Industri melaksanakan kegiatan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) yang difokuskan pada penyediaan alat laboratorium IPA, Electric Microskop Binokuler dan 1 buah lemari tempat penyimpanan alat laboratorium untuk UPT SMPN 42 Medan.
PT. Oleochem & Soap Industri committed to support effective teaching and learning by provision exactas Laboratory Equipments at UPT SMPN 42 Medan. This initiative builds on the company’s earlier CSR contribution in 2024, when PT. Oleochem donated 2 sets of dual-compartment waste bins (for organic and inorganic waste, 50-liter capacity) and 30 single-compartment waste bins (25-liter capacity) to the same school.
PT.Oleochem & Soap Industri hadir untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran yang efektif yaitu dengan penyediaan Peralatan Laboratorium IPA di UPT SMPN 42 Medan sebagai wujud implementasi komitmen Tanggung jawab Sosial Perusahaan yang berkesinambungan setelah di tahun 2024 PT.Oleochem & Soap Industri telah menyumbangkan tempat sampah sebanyak 2 set tempat sampah double compartement (organic dan anorganik) kapasitas 50 liter dan 30 pcs tempat sampah single compartment (kapasitas 25 ltr) di sekolah ini.
Project targets
This CSR program is part of PT. Oleochem & Soap Industri’s broader efforts to create a positive impact on the communities surrounding its operations. The company hopes that this contribution will be optimally utilized by the school and provide benefits for the students and teachers of SMPN 42 Medan particularly in science subjects.
Kegiatan CSR ini merupakan bagian dari langkah nyata PT.Oleochem & Soap Industri dalam memberikan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat sosial di lingkungan sekitar pabrik. Dengan harapan bantuan yang diberikan oleh PT. Oleochem & Soap Industri dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal oleh pihak sekolah dan memberi dampak positif bagi siswa-siswi dan guru UPT SMPN 42 Medan khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPA.
Objectives
1. To improve the quality of science education at SMPN 42 through the provision of adequate laboratory equipment.
2. To contribute meaningfully to the development of education within the company’s surrounding community.
3. To build a positive and sustainable relationship between the company and the local community, especially educational institutions.
4. To enhance students’ awareness of the importance of science and technology through hands-on learning experiences.
1. Meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di SMPN 42 melalui penyediaan alat laboratorium yang memadai.
2. Memberikan kontribusi nyata perusahaan dalam mendukung pendidikan di lingkungan sekitar pabrik.
3. Membangun hubungan yang positif dan berkelanjutan antara perusahaan dan masyarakat sekitar, khususnya institusi pendidikan.
4. Menumbuhkan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi melalui kegiatan praktik langsung.
